Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Her most famous role is Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in a Drama Series. Her other roles are Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons working in Chicago theatre before moving on to film and TV roles. Anna got her big break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for the duration of 29 episodes on Down the Shore. She continued to appear as a guest star in a handful of TV series and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue through the mid 90's when she appeared in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. The role was played by Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons in the late 2000s. She also starred in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood was another movie she was a part of. Gunn was a part of David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. Gunn also played a part in Numbered Day, a podcast consisting of four audio dramas. The drama of Breaking Bad is driven by the relationship with Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The decline of their relationship is similar to Walter White's final years.
